The Respondent Experience
The design of the survey respondent interface has been tested and carefully tuned to meet the needs of people completing surveys, regardless of their technical skill level. CustomInsight's surveys are attractive, efficient, and easy to use. To appreciate the respondent experience, complete a sample survey.
Some highlights of the respondent interface include:
- Universal Access - Our respondent interface works with all common web browsers (Internet Explorer or Netscape, versions 3 and newer recommended).
- Paper version - If a respondent prefers to complete the survey off-line, he or she can download a paper version of the survey. (optional feature that you enable)
- Stop/Continue Later - While completing a survey, a respondent can stop at any point and recieve an access code that allows him or her to continue the survey later. (optional feature that you enable)
- Change Answers - If a respondent wants to go back to review or change a response, this can be done at any time while he or she is completing the survey.
- Progress Monitor - Respondents can see what percentage of the survey they have completed at any point.
- Response Summary - After completing the survey, respondents can download a summary of their responses.

Robust Reporting Options
We are confident that our reports are the best you will find from any online survey provider. Reports can be generated at any time, even while you are still collecting responses. You can also filter the results to create specific reports for any demographic subgroup (cross-tabulation) or date range of responses (trend analysis). Available report formats include:
- MS Word - Our flagship report provides full-color bar charts as well as numeric data break-downs. This report is presentation-ready - just click and print and you are done (view sample). Since the report is a Word document, it is also very easy for you to edit it as needed or incorporate portions of our report into your presentation.
- HTML - Each web-based report has a unique URL that you can share with others for online viewing.
- MS Excel Data Summary - The MS Excel report rolls up all the data for each item in your survey into a convenient spreadsheet format. Use this report to conduct additional data analyses or to create custom graphs in Excel.
- Raw Data - The complete raw data set is always available. This report has been specially designed to import easily into your statistical analysis software package (e.g. SPSS or SAS). This report is most useful for people who want to dig deeper into their data with more advanced statistical methods such as inter-item correlation or factor analysis.
- Individual Responses - View the complete details of each individual response.
- Cross Tabulation Engine - This online reporting engine lets you view response patterns between two items.
- Correlation Analysis Engine - This online reporting engine lets you view statistically significant correlations between items.
- Custom Reporting - We can customize any report or create an entirely new report to meet your specific needs.
